Week #11 - Short and Sweet

Not much to say about what happened this week.  We did exchanges with other people in my district, so I got to see a bit more about what happens with another companion.  I spent one day with Elder Thompson.  It was a little bit of a different pace.  I was showing someone around Argentina without help.  I usually am the follower because my companion is super good with directions, but that day I was the leader.  It was difficult because we didn't have a native Spanish speaker as well.  Luckily, we survived and made it home.

The Argentina experience is really crazy, but crazy is becoming the new normal. I can officially sat that I love the food here.  Once you get used to it and know what to buy, it's not so bad.

I am short on time this week,  but I promise I will have a better letter next week.

Thanks for reading!

Other quick thoughts from Collin this week:

"The best way to do missionary work is through members."

"We have some good investigators.  Most of the people we are teaching have members in the family or are friends of members, etc."

"I do love the food from Argentina now, but there is something about a simple American dish........"

Rick asked if they have a McD's in his town:

"There is not one store that I recognize from America.  Most of the food you buy is from a grocery store, meat shop or a kiosk that sells basic food items."

His last message to Rick this morning was, "talk to you next week, if I don't get run over by a car.  I swear I play a bit of frogger everyday."
